There is one indisputable truth. Women love shoes!
And fashion bloggers love them even more! This season we witness amazing variaty in shoe design.
Every self respected fashionista knows the main shoe tendencies this spring and summer and wants to possess at least two pairs of each. Here is my list of top four shoes this season.
Now, I don't say that I like them all. On the contrary... I find some of them inappropriate and strange and others simply uncomfortable. But I admit I also have my favourites which fill my dreams and empty my wallet :D
So here they are:
1. The Mules
In other words these are high-heeled slippers. (They actually remind me of my child years when my mom was wearing similar and I always wanted to try them.) Why slippers? Because they don't embrace the ankle and the heel in no way. I know, that shounds very uncomfortable. I thought so too, but the truth is that the Mules are actually pretty easy to wear. If you find the right model for you, you will find that they cling to your feet and not only look fancy, but are also comfortable to wear. I say TRY!
2. The Slipper Sandals
This season the Slipper Sandals became very fashionable. I don't really know why. Honestly, these shoes remind me of a swimming pool where you have to wear slippers outside the water in order not dirty your feet. I can't really imagine to wear them outside with jeans, skirt or whatever. Some of the bloggers love them, though. As for me, I say PASS!
3. The Plimsolls
They are so comfortable that I really don't want to wear anything else! Besides that, they look amazing with everything - skirts, jeans, dresses... it's a long list! Fashion bloggers went crazy for them in no time and, believe me, there is a reason for that. So if you haven't tried them yet, hurry! - ASOS have some great offers. As you can probably guess - I say TRY (as quickly as possible!)
4.Sandals with many straps.
Recently I notice that many brands release different models of flat sandals with many straps which appear in fashion magazines all the time. Personally I really like them, but I must say that they are not suitable for every style. I like the bohemian look they have. Being extreamly comfortable, they are perfect for summer adventures - beach parties, long walks, travelling and so on. All you need to add is a pair of ripped shorts or loose dress and you are ready to go! So I say - TRY!
What about you? Which is your favourite shoe trend?
